The Meter Server closes the existing gap between utility and user centered Smart Grid applications. Installed at the customer location, it logs consumption data from connected meters locally. Every popular IP capable device including Notebooks, Smart Phones and Smart TV’s may access and visualize stored consumption data. Thus all drawbacks of proprietary Inhome Displays and Web Portals used so far, such as high costs, data security issues, poor expandability and limited functionality are completely eliminated. Furthermore, with its integrated rule base the Meter Server also supports consumption, time and tariff driven load management.

 

Technical Data

  • Logs consumption data from electricity, gas, water and heat meters by accessing those meters locally
