DC-1000/SL Data Concentrator

The DC-1000/SL Data Concentrator is an integral component of our Unified IEM Meter Management Solution and forms the necessary network infrastructure by linking the electricity meters EM-1021, EM-1023 and EM-2023 and the central utility server. The DC-1000/SL Data Concentrator manages up to 1024 electricity meters and up to 4096 M-Bus gas, water and heat meters.

Technical Data

  • manages up to 1024 EM-1021, EM-1023 and EM-2023 electricity meters
  • manages up to 4096 M-Bus gas, water and heat meters
  • communicates with electricity meters via the low voltage network
  • communicates with the central utility server via standard wide area networks such as Ethernet, POTS, GSM, GPRS and UHF/VHF radio networks
  • captures and reports meter data, including consumption and energy quality
  • synchronizes time and date of electricty meters with the system time of the central utility server
  • secure data transfer with user authentication and encryption
